Javeline is looking for a Senior JavaScript Developer to aid in the development of cutting edge web applications. The Senior JavaScript Developer is responsible for the technical realization of the projects, with a focus on R&D of the Javeline FrameWork.
Responsibilities
We expect you to deliver excellent work, working in close harmony with interaction design, visual design and back-end developement teams. Additionally, you will collaborate with the R&D team to shape the future of the software. You will have the following core responsibilities:
- Create software specifications and develop front-end interfaces
- Providing time estimations and participate in budget assesments
- Coach and mentor junior developers
- Create and deliver training around the Javeline software
- Participate in recruiting and hiring staff
- Participate in pre-sales and pitching activities to win accounts and projects
- Participate in requirement gathering to define technical requirements and features
- Co-define the tactical direction concerning GUI development
Requirements
We consider candidates with various backgrounds, but the following are required:
- 5+ years experience developing applications for the internet
- Experience applying methodology in a professional and structured environment
- Expert knowledge of CSS, XHTML, Javascript and web standards
- Experience with XSLT and W3C DOM
