Javeline is looking for a Senior Strategic Sales Professional who wants to play the game once more. Javeline is a startup located in the center of Amsterdam supplying cutting edge software development solutions to developers worldwide. We are looking for a person who appreciates the challenge of setting up and leading the sales organisation for Javeline's growing selection of products and services. Javeline's strategy and business model is shaped around open source. Ideally we look for a person that has worked in corporate open source products and services sales.
Key responsibilities
- Generate a sales plan
- Develop and deploy custom presentations on Javeline's products and services
- Strong team player.
- Introduces and promotes the sale of new products.
- Utilize Salesforce.com for sales forecasting and productivity metrics
- Must display excellent planning and organizational skills and demonstrate the flexibility to adapt and adjust your day to assist your customers and prospects.
- Multi-level selling skills. Success requires the ability to sell top down AND bottom up into corporate infrastructures
- Sourcing new partners by vertical segments and product lines
- Negotiating deals to ensure highest revenue return. Work with marketing for product concepts, legal for contract negotiations
- Effectively communicate current deal status/issues through participating in weekly update meetings
- Work with partners for case studies and other sales material
- Identify and close inbound opportunities for Javeline's products and services
- Manage multiple business initiatives in a start-up environment
Skills, experience and characteristics required
- Must have experience in business planning and analysis
- Proven track record of success driving revenue through the development of long-term strategic relationships
- Demonstrated track record of structuring and managing complex negotiations to successful closure and delivery
- High integrity and will stop at nothing less than greatness for the team and organization
- Ability to work with upper level management on executing company initiatives
- 10+ years in quota exceeding roles, and demonstrated success in achieving overall regional sales goals
- Excellent business acumen and strong understanding of online space
- Excellent presentation skills
- Multilingual in European languages is a plus
- BS/BA, MBA is a plus
